This lovely patient hated the appearance of the old amalgam filling in her top back tooth. We pointed out the cracks in the tooth, and suggested a crown be made to protect the tooth. The patient was more than happy to have the amalgam removed (using rubber dam) and to have a new emax (lithium disilicate) crown made and inserted - on the same day!
